Less than 4 weeks! Some of us have not seen each other in almost 40 years. Some of us will be little nervous, maybe even a little anxious. It will be exciting to have our childhood and teenage years right back in front of us. 40 years is a long time and still it all feels like yesterday - and in a different world. We will all be more familiar with each other, than most friendships we made after high school.

If you are in touch with any classmates, who are not sure about coming, please convince them. This is an amazing chance to enjoy and remember up close the good moments of our youth, and maybe also to let go of some of the mean interactions between teenagers, to see that fleeting crush again, and the person who was always kind to us.

Noch knapp 4 Wochen.  Einige von uns, haben sich seit fast 40 Jahren nicht gesehen.  Da kann man schön ein wenig nervös sein, vielleicht auch ein bisschen ängstlich, in jedem Fall ist es aufregend Kindheit und Teenagerzeit nochmal so hautnah zu haben. 40 Jahre sind eine lange Zeit und doch fühlt sich dass alles an wie gestern aber auch aus einer anderen Welt.  Und wir werden uns vertrauter sein, als viele Freunde, die wir erst später im Leben kennengelernt haben.

Falls Ihr noch Kontakt zu Klassenkameraden habt, die nicht so recht kommen wollen, überredet sie bitte:  Es ist eine einmalige Chance sich an die guten Momente aus unserer Jungend hautnah zu erinnern und vielleicht auch, ein paar alte Teenagerboshaftigkeiten aus der Welt zu schaffen, nochmal den flüchtigen Schwarm zu sehen, und der oder die, die immer lieb zu einem war.

I heard about the ALL-80s Reunion in November and loved the idea. Mostly for two reasons:

1.  The Class of '86 is amazing. They organize their reunion and invite nine other years to join them. They do all the work and we get to have all the fun. Love them, love them, love them.

2.  We, the Class of '82, graduated 40 years ago. And I don't think any of us was willing to organize a full-fledged reunion. But a simple evening at an amazing location after days of great events organized others?  That we can do.

So we rented the PAN AM Lounge. Come fly with us!
